Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary
provide a safe and loving home for large breed senior dogs (50+ pounds, 7 years or older) who have been displaced from their homes and/or abandoned for any reason, until they are adopted or to remain at the sanctuary until they pass on.
We also ask that if you are looking for a worthy cause to donate, give to Lily’s Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary.
Spot came to us from the LA County shelter. His owner died on Thanksgiving day leaving Spot an orphan. The jury is still out on what breed this 10 year old neutered male might be. His head & body shape lean towards some type of Pointer. He is still adjusting to life at Lily’s, but so far has made friends with the other dogs and but he will chase cats. Spot is healthy and full of beans, ready to move on to his forever home.
Foxy is an adorable, sweet, laid back 13 year-old Shepherd Doodle. She was surrendered when her owner passed away and the family couldn’t care for her. She’s good with other dogs and mostly just loves getting love from people.
We love her bouncy version of the “zoomies” when she gets to roam in our dog park.
She needs a mellow, quiet home with one or two people to love her. She’s a bit wobbly and her back legs are a little weak so a one-story home is preferable. And she doesn’t use a dog door so she needs someone home most of the time. She is the perfect pet for a retiree looking for companionship or someone who works from home.
