Steps before scheduling a Meet and Greet Visit

First, fill out the Initial Inquiry on the Contact Us page, and Awwdorable Pets will contact you to discuss the requested services.

Afterwards, a client account may be set up in the Awwdorable Pets portal as part of the registration process, which will include both the customer’s and pet’s information. For the best interest of your pets’ care, it is the client’s responsibility to complete the information for both human and pet details thoroughly, including all essential details.

Next, a Meet and Greet is scheduled. It will be at the customer’s residence.

For greater safety and security, our Pawstomer Advocate (pet care specialists) may request to see a valid photo ID.

During the Meet and Greet Visit, we will meet you and your pet(s) 🐾❤️ and go over:

  • Rabies vaccination documentation
  • Feeding instructions
  • Key access: keys, codes, lockboxes
  • Leash and collar/harness setups
  • Litter box solutions
  • Supplies, trash, and recycling
  • Any other house-based related questions
  • Pet routines and behaviors
  • Pet fears, anxieties, and stressors
  • Learn about training and behavior modification plans
  • Any other related information about selected services

    Verbal instructions during the Meet and Greet will reinforce the information written in the portal and will not be the primary method of sharing pet care information with Awwdorable Pets. All customer (except home security information) and pet information must be completed before the Meet and Greet to help facilitate a smoother meeting.

Should your pet(s) have fear, anxiety, and or stress behaviors that may impact services, we will refer you to a Fear-Free certified animal behavior consultant, and possibly an FFCP Veterinarian for follow-up care. We will paws all services until the pet is able to self-regulate at a safe level.
